Milwaukee Laptop Orchestra Alternating Currents Live presents
Sunday, May 17, 7pm The Milwaukee Laptop Orchestra (MiLO) is an improvising collective fusing live electronic sound, instrumental performance, and video projection into a rich multimedia experience. The group embraces a wide variety of electronic practices from circuit-bending, software synthesis, repurposed effects pedals and portable game devices. Live processing of instrumental sounds, VJing, network music, and procedural animation all find their way into the mix. The MiLO offers a rich, immersive tapestry of sound and image, all created live and in the moment. MiLO members include Glenn Bach, Christopher Burns, David Collins, Brent Coughenour, Dale Kaminski, Steve Nelson-Raney, Joel Matthys, Adam Murphy, Kevin Schlei, Steve Schlei, Greg Surges, Seth Warren, and Jon Welstead.  This concert is brought to you by the Alternating Currents Live series, broadcast on WMSE (91.7) FM, Milwaukee.
