Woodland Pattern Experimental Film/Video series Friday, October 31 7pm $2 Monsters, Murderers, and Madness Start off your Halloween with this film program of hauntings, grisly tales, and eye-popping animation. Offering a witch's brew of Poe, murderers like Winnie Rudd (actual) and Rosita Guzman, a.k.a La Mocha (fantastical), unveiled medical artifacts, and a haunted dollhouse, tonight's program, curated by animator Kate Raney, courts the horrific as it beguiles the eye. Featuring the local premiere of the new video from The Brothers Quay and films by Jan Svankmajer, Janie Geiser, Jen Sachs, Celia Galan, and more.
