Presented by the UWM Department of Film
T Tube, or, What Came Before YouTube
 |
| THE LIVE! SHOW |
Some channel surfing through experimental and DIY television, personal declarations, interventions, performance, and news-you-can-use that was disseminated not via the web but rather on television, public access mostly. The program will feature
locally made broadcasts, including work from Teaspoon Communications and STEW, as well as a healthy dose of feeds from a historical elsewhere, including Toronto's General Idea and NYC's Jaime Davidovich (who hosted the weekly THE LIVE! SHOW as Dr. Videovich in the early 1970's).
The UWM Film Department presents the Woodland Pattern Experimental Film/Video series once a month in the gallery space of Woodland Pattern Book Center. The series presents film and video screenings, presentations by visiting artists, and varieties of media performance.
