    ALL YOUR BOOK SHOPPING!

Any time of the year, it's important to remember to shop at Local Independent Book Centers. Here are nine reasons to do all of your book shopping at Woodland Pattern!
    1. We have one of the most remarkable and current poetry selections in the country.
    2. We carry books that can't be found in any other bookstores in the Midwest.
    3. We support small presses. We carry over 20,000 small press titles on our shelves.
    4. We have a broad selection of quality literature. On our shelves, you can find self-published books by emerging writers alongside titles by established authors.
    5. Sure, shopping online you can maybe find what you are looking for, but here you can find books you didn't even know you were looking for.
    6. We are a non-profit. Which means we don't let commercial shelf space dictate our purchasing decisions.
    7. Members of Woodland Pattern receive 10% off purchases, $5 off workshops, and discounts on tickets.
    8. Woodland Pattern supports writers by carrying their books on consignment. In 2008, we paid over $3,700 to over 140 individuals that had books on consignment.
    9. If you can't find it in our store, we can order it for you. Can't think of the right book? Get a gift certificate!
    * Send us YOUR reasons for shopping at Woodland Pattern—we'll put them on the website.
