Tal Kravitz: An encounter between classic Israeli music and instruments from around the world. Presented with the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.

Tal Kravitz was born in 1974 and spent his childhood and youth at Kibbutz Ramat Hakovesh. A graduate of the Israeli Music conservatory in choral conducting and classical singing, he has studied middle-eastern traditional music and singing at Bar-Ilan University. He Performs and lectures in educational institutions throughout Israel.

The show is based on a blend of cultures and includes music made with instruments collected on many journeys. The performance features songs in various languages; its leitmotif is one of Tal’s great loves – the old and beautiful Israeli songs of his childhood and formative years on the kibbutz.
